    Now what I can't figure out is why 5 of the 6 switches look the same except the RSCA OFF button (whatever it does). WTF? You MADE the damn truck - make it the same! :)

    ok I just anwerd my own question. I googled it and found this

    "6. SRS Airbag

    The RSCA has been newly provided on the models with the curtain shield airbag.

    The RSCA OFF switch, which turns OFF the RSCA, is also used."

    So its the side curtian airbag.

    My guess is that it has nothing to do with airbags and everything to do with ordering red snapper...:D

    Ok, I'm having trouble deciphering the sarcastic comments from the serious ones. If the middle comment (turn off the side airbags for offroading) is for real - what happens if you forget to hit it? Is there a tilt sensor that triggers it?

    I certainly wouldn't want to be on a side slope and the airbags deploy :eek:

    Yes, it's a serious comment. RSCA (Roll Sensing Curtain Airbags) Turn it off when you're off-roading so you don't get a false deployment. They'll still activate if it senses a full roll-over, but not from impact (or at least that's my understanding).

    Edit: If you forget to hit the button, I doubt they'd deploy unless it was a pretty serious grade.

    Edit2: What year/ model do you have? The RSCA comes standard on the 09.

    like biomed said- its real. i didnt know what it was for so i looked in.....the manual! it said it shuts off the curtain airbags which may go off on extreme angles (or maybe full rollever, dunno, dont remember). to activate it you need to hold it in for 5 seconds so its almost impossible to turn on (or off in this case) by accident.

    If you do not have power side mirrors it could be that plug. When I did the DRL's on my basic '09 it had an extra plug that looks like it would go to the mirror switch if I had one.
