I'm gonna guess it's 1 of the transmission revolution sensors. There are 2. 1 has red and blue/red wires. The other has yellow/red and white/red wires. I would imagine that they're pretty important. @gearcruncher would have a better idea what would happen if you drive without it.

Looks like the speed sensor. Prob will lose ABS/stability control/traction control/etc.

Should be an easy fix if you can gain access to disassemble that plug and rewire it. The tools to extract the pins and crimp on new ones should be readily available but there are a few different kinds/sizes so finding out which one you need (or what you can use in liu of the specified extraction tool) might be difficult. Hopefully someone here knows that info or an easier fix option.

I am about 80% sure that V3 and V4 on your junk motor are the same connector.

Thanks, I think I still have the cut wiring harness laying around I’ll be sure to look to see if any of the old plugs match up

I would bet my lunch money that the transmission revolution sensors are used to help determine shift points.

I believe it is the input speed sensor.
And you’ll likely get a P0717, but I may be wrong?
Does your service manual show anything for this?

Dunno. It's a lot easier for me to look at my schematic book than the 12" tall stack of mechanical manuals. LOL

The last pic might be useful for finding a replacement connector from the donor harness

The truck will be in limp mode and wont shift until the wires are repaired .

Very nice. Worth mentioning, that last pic is actually the view of the sensor. Looking at the actual connector, you will see a mirror image.
