SX is available all over the country

a subtle change is they use the SR5 headlights with the black side trim instead of all chrome like on SR's

The SX package offers use base model ppl alittle appearance boost. I personally kept the SX logo as a troll mark for ever other truck with some sticker there. I do dig the package tho especially on the silver

I'd been looking at Tacoma's for years and was constantly on the fence about getting either an SR with Convenience Package, or just ponying up for a TRD Sport/OR.

Then the SX package dropped in 2019 and I knew that was the truck for me. $540 over an SR/Conv for a truck that pretty much looked like a TRD Off Road. As it'd be my first truck and needed to be a DD+Work Truck it was perfect. That it made Quicksand available to the SR trim was an added bonus.

 

They're 16" wheels. I like mine.

I like my 22 SX

 

It’s made as a stripped down truck mainly for modders. This way people didn’t need to buy a TRD pro only to change out the OEM fox suspension and other expensive options that a modder wouldn’t.

the dealership system in the United States makes models like these hard to buy.

if we could only just order vehicles the way we want them straight from the factory like Japan.

I think the SX wheels are the best looking Tacoma OEM wheels. I put them on my SR and really like them.

 

Should get a custom made SEX decal in the same font.

 

I have a 2.7 MGM SR Access cab with the SX package. Blackout stuff and mine came with the Duratracs. Also with the intermittent wiper option too. Not sure if it’s offered on the base SR. Took the decal off though

Intermittent wipers, Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, pre collision braking, lane departure warning but not lane change assist, automatic on off high beams are all on the base SR.

 

Of course it's SET.

SX package is not southeastern Toyota it’s a legit Toyota package. they sell them in California.
