definitely! Got two setting next to the lens on my workbench waiting to be installed, really just working up the courage to meld one on as even getting one on the infotainment screen was annoying

Yeah, for the infotainment it is easier if you pop off the surround and pull the knobs off.

Any idea if this is possible to add this feature to the truck as it is a non factory option for the Canadian sport trim? This hardware being present make things easier, no?

    Its most likely a cost prohibitive issue;
    Sensors (x4)
    Harness to sensors
    ECU
    Bolts to secure ECU
    Switch
    Buzzer
    Disassembly n assembly of dash
    Programing
But if you have the $$$...

if the ECU would even know what to do with it? when I looked into adding TPMS (Canadian Mts lacks it) seemed like there wasn't any way to add the factory TPMS in as the computer wasn't programmed for it.

is it even possible to reprogram the ECU for new features like that?

This weekend I installed the anytime camera on my 22 off road (with the parking sonar system) and noticed a black harness that was not being used when I took the head unit out. I was curious about this and searched a bit and came to this post. I should have taken a picture of the harness but I did not, however it is not plugged into anything and my parking sensors are working just fine as I just checked. Maybe I was not looking at the same harness, is there another unused one that would be back there? Next time I have the head unit out I will look at it and get a picture of it

The whole manual vs auto thing makes me laugh.
I have 2 vehicles with auto.
Got tired of shifting after 40+ years.
I have a friend who had Subaru's and a Golf R. He couldn't drive manual so he put a ball cap on the shifter so you couldn't see at a glance it was auto. He couldn't swim neither.
I don't think less of him no matter what.

each to their own, I really like having a manual for off-roading. no need to deal with crawl control/terrain select or worry about overheating and better engine breaking. However I live in a mountainous area with rather steep FSRs.

I was installing a remote start system in my 2021 and I found this plug is it unused or did I get unplugged from somewhere?
