    I have a 2003 Tacoma pre runner 6v.
So my ac randomly stopped working for a few minutes, no air was blowing out. I tried to turn it on again about ten minutes later and it worked, but when I got home I noticed there was running down my mud flap which seems to be coming from the engine area. It’s on both passenger and driver side.
Any idea what it might be? Any cause for concern?

check your ac drain if the leak is on the passenger side. Good reason to check the front passenger carpet too. If not, check your coolant (don’t look like coolant unless you’re running water instead of coolant)

Seems odd to be running down both mudflaps but I don't know where the a/c drain is. It could be that your evap probe failed and in turn allowed your evaporator to freeze over(hence losing your airflow temporarily) then once it thawed out you got it back and the block of ice that was your evaporator melted and the water found it's way down both mud flaps... check your a/c drain to make sure it's not plugged and interior carpet too for water

What's it smell like? A/C drain or wiper fluid is a good guess if it were on the passenger side but it's on both... Color looks like oil from here... Not good if so

Pop the hood and take a look. I wouldn't drive it until ya do.It should be easy to ID what that fluid is but check the oil and coolant. But look under the hood.....

Don’t ignore the obvious/easier options first. Your cowling ducts might drain that way. I get water there after a rain. Just blast it with a hose for a min see where the water goes. A/c might be unrelated just bad timing.
