It was in my glove box of my 2006 TRD Sport since it was new. Maybe related to the stereo? Thanks!

I have the tow package so isn't the brake controller included in the round 7 pin connector?

It’s the trailer brake harness. Think it would connect to a connector back behind the drivers side kick plate by the left foot.

Your truck is all prewired for a trailer brake controller, but there's no controller. Having that pigtail simplifies the controller install. You just connect that pigtail to the controller, find the matching connector by the kick panel, plug it in, mount the controller and you're done.

I forgot I had one and bought a prewired adaptor, from eTrailer I think. It was cheap, $12? And no muss, no fuss.
