WHAT IS THIS??

You are correct, same from '09-'12...the inverter is in the console area. The wires that go to the actual inverter is whats under the front passenger seat. The wires from the plug outlet in the bed come into the cab from underneath through a hole in the floor and connect to the wiring harness I mentioned in my earlier post.The other end of this wiring harness then plugs into the inverter located under the console. Sorry for the confusion.

Ahh thank you. No wonder I don't have it.

Well it ends up that without a lot of work and expense I won't be doing the inverter thing. I need to have certain things on my truck that I don't. Oh well.

Sorry it didnt end up the answer you were hoping for, but at least we know now. And that was a very easy way to determine if it is even possible or not.

 

I've powered a guitar amp off my truck. Worked great.

But when I tried to use an actual power tool (reciprocating saw) it kept popping the breaker. I was pretty disappointed. Haven't even bothered to see if a skilsaw will work.
