    None as of yet
I belive in non off road models a brake booster goes there. But for off roads it fits a compressor or second battery nicely

On a 2nd gen it's the ABS unit. Left over from that?

I was wondering the same thing earlier today. Looks like a good spot for a compressor.

    Yep
It's where offgrid engineering will help you mount your dual battery

Or where slee offroad will help you mount your arb pump

On non a trac it's some abs component.

But for you it's an ARB compressor or dual battery spot

Plenty of companies make battery holders that bolt to those tapped holes
