What is this threaded bracket behind the air filter box?

    What normally goes there?

What CAN you put there? Anyone used it for custom purposes?

Holds the ABS module on trucks with the vacuum boost brake system (everything but Pro's and OR's).

A lot of us mount air compressors there, me included.

Used for the ABS system on some models, some folks mount an air compressor there.

That is the best second battery under hood location. No tearing the sheet metal and breaking off the oil filler neck which happens with doubling batteries on the driver side.
