Are there stake holes like domestic pickups?

I have an aluminum ladder rack left over from my old 2500 Silverado that uses rear stake holes - and my Tacoma's rail caps appear to have been glued/taped on so I'm reluctant to pull one off to investigate whether I can just cut the hole to access them or if I am putting a ladder rack on fleabay.

I believe the bed rail caps just "pop" off and are held on with plastic clips.... start at the front and lift...then move to the rear..

Well... I guess that answers that. They look none too sturdy for standing on either - I best stop using them as a ladder to reach the shelves in my garage.
