    I have heard about the oil pipe bursting, hurricane, earthquake, etc that caused gas prices to go up. What is the fcking reason now :rolleyes:.

    End of year to make their balance sheet numbers? In calif, the last few days, costco near my place ran out of gas. Prices gone up like 40-50 pennies this week. Just ranting thats all.:p

    I live on the Virginia 1/2 a mile from the State line with North Carolina .
    Last night Exxon was $3.39 for 87 octane.

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    You'd think they would go down before the elections. I remember the last one gas got down to $1.40 here, doubt we'll ever see that again but its wishful thinking!

    Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
    It's funny how there never seems to be refinery fires (if it happens, it's very rare), and just this year there's been at least 3 (the last few months actually). They all seem to happen when gas prices start to fall. Coincidence? :rolleyes:

    Cause yall live in the country of california...gas prices havent gone up here...ACTUALLY..its cause of a refinery thats closed..and apparently a pipeline shut down as well..my dad is a contractor for chevron. lol

    The fast-rising prices are linked to a string of supply disruptions, beginning with a huge fire at San Francisco-area Chevron refinery in August.

    On Monday, a power failure shut down an Exxon Mobil refinery in Southern California. And a crude oil pipeline in the state is also out of service.

    OH! AND BEST YET!

    California pollution rules require a gasoline blend that isn't readily available from refineries outside the state..HAHAHAHAHA
