Not really. It bolts the same place as before.

Maybe the grill mounting points can be adjusted somehow.

I'd probably leave well enough alone and try not to notice the imperfection...but it would be difficult.

Is there anything out of alignment where the bumper meets the fender on the passenger side? Possibly not noticeable because the fender flare covers up this joint. I ask this because from your photos it looks like something could have pushed the bumper in on the passenger side. It looks like the hood meets up fine at the top, but starts getting closer as it gets lower towards the headlight. Because it looks like the grill overlaps the bumper how it should, I would look at the bumper to make sure it is aligned properly.

Ha. Never owned a vehicle I didn't put at least 150K miles on. And I will do it with this one too, even if they are all angry miles.

Just checked again. Nothing is obviously wrong with the bumper/fender. As you said, it all looks fine on the flat top part, then narrows down to almost nothing at the headlight. Right at the lowest part of the hood, the edge of the hood all but overlaps the grill surround and would probably rub if not for a vertical separation of a few mm. But I think you might be on to something with this. I have been focusing on the grill surround but did not realize that the alignment of the grill surround is mostly determined by the attachment to the bumper. So if that is pushed in...now I just need to figure out how the bumper fits on there.

The headlight on the passenger side is also closer to the hood compared to the driver side by a couple of mm or so. Not really noticeable on its own, but maybe another piece of the puzzle.

I've noticed that the fit of the grill, grill surround, bumper cover, hood etc on my 2022 isnt as good as it was on my 2020.

Did you ever figure out how to fix it? I installed a bumper yesterday and when I put the same grill back on the alignment was off just just like your truck.
