I thought Sentinel was a badass character and never deserved the hate he received from the fanbase. "Oh my gerd he killed Ironhyde! Hez such a traitor!"
Like Ironhide wouldn't have died anyway. If Sentinel didn't kill him, I'm sure Lockdown would have in the fourth movie. I liked Ironhide too but wars can't be won without sacrifices. Sentinel was just doing what he had to save his planet, he was neither an autobot or a decepticon, he was a extreme nationalist.
