Most sports stores like cabelas, bass pro shops, or sportsman’s warehouse have posted lakes and rivers with fishing reports. These are all well known and no secrets divulged. As for my spots, no way I’m telling anyone. It’s taken years of hunting, trial and error, and map/gps studying to find them. Part of the fun of fishing is finding a spot that you and very few others know about.

Here's the overhead view. This was a long time ago (2007). It looks much nicer now.

To answer my own question. My area is rich

    the Pacific Ocean
    Clearlake
The California Delta! Like a billion sq miles.
    Berryessa
    Russian River.
    Lake Sonoma.
And a myriad of smaller bodies of water.

I’ve googled earthed up some sweet places on the Delta. One place has a private launch I need and it’s COVID-closed for now!! I check it daily.

We were literally on the water yesterday talking about you! Not YOU, but the secretive type. There's plenty of bank standing spots to go around. The water is a big place. That's my opinion, YMMV.

For sure. Moderators define politics differently than I do.

Hands down - all of Michigan...
What we lack in mountains and desert landscape, we more than make up for with our fisheries. From world class trout, to some of the best smallmouth in the country we have it all. As a matter of fact you are never more than 6 miles from a body of water in Michigan. And we are surrounded by the Great Lakes, you will lose your mind trying to decide what species to go after and any given day.
