    Speaking of the F4-era planes, it's amazing how long some aircraft platforms remain in service. By the time the B-52 retires it will have seen close to 100 years of service.

    I'd like to have something like the BeDe BD-5 to fly around in. The military uses these planes to test radar because they imitate missiles on radar, heard this on the History channel so don't flame me to harshly if it's incorrect, it would be really awesome to use if you wanted to fly somewhere by yourself.

    there is a BD5 kit on ebay now.... every once and a while i'll see a half assembled kit up there... i'm pretty sure they had a prop version as well
