Couldn't agree more. I'm looking at a WR450F, and trying to justify it to my wife.

Much truth here, although I've seen bikers who cause the problem by passing in a no passing, riding the lines, and such as well. I'll never forget the time I almost killed someone on a bike because they tried to split the lanes going over 100 while I was making a lane change. Had I been a second later reacting he was dead..and flipped me the bird for my troubles..

    This.

What is also mind boggling is how people are stretching out the loan term to buy a Taco. 6 and 7 year loans on a truck, is bonkers.

in my case, I financed for 75 months knowing that I'd have it paid off in half the time, throwing double to principle each month, etc.

After seeing what some people are paying for houses/rent makes me never want to move from a small town. Ouch!

Employers can't check your credit score, and they don't see your actual report. There's a employment screening report they can see, but it's totally different.

My wife didn't even have a credit score until she was almost 30 and saw no real negligable effects compared to someone with 800 credit score. Why? She never borrowed money. Credit score doesn't have a big of effect on your life as people think unless you always need to borrow money all the time.

I have been refused a job based on credit score, it was some sort of telemarketing selling credit cards. this was back about 20 years ago.

20 years ago women weren't allowed to have credit cards either. Ok maybe I exaggerated on the years but it was true

But employers don't check your record score nor are they given a score

    ummmm. ok.
I bet banking and other financial institutions still use credit score to rate potential employees.
