    .
Go to Credit Karma to check your credit and BankRate.com to check the best interest rate for your credit score.

Go to COSTCO, USAA or TrueCar and use their pricing to buy.

When in Toyota business office ... watch paperwork carefully for any changes that they try to make ... and do not buy any extras stuff they try to sell.

Above is the complete recipe to get your there.

PS ... If you buy it ... come back for ideas at delivery time so you don't get screwed there.

If the 26k that Was financed has an interest rate of about 9.4% it can.

To each his own i guess, I would personally never have anything accumulating that much interest over 60 months---of course except my investment accounts.

Wow mine was a similar package for a new 2015 without the steps and mats for $30,860. They really rip people off with stuff like steps and mats...
I actually went back and got predator steps separetly for about 500$

You have many things to factor in. Do you know what your interest will be? What is your debt to income ratio?

I made sure my car note is no more than $450/mo. Why? Because I'm comfortable having to hustle and come up with $450 in case I lose my job or fell ill...whatever the situation. I also make double payments just in case.

But check you credit score and what interest you can get. Maybe try getting financed through a Credit Union.

I worked as an account manager for a big subprime auto finance company. And I saw some ridiculous shit. Not a good idea to finance a large amount with a 20% interest rate. I saw people owe more on the loan after 1 year, than the amount that was originally financed.

I agree. At least get a rate from a credit union or know what it'll be *if* you financed. The Toyota Finance manager only needs to know what you *could* get elsewhere. You don't necessarily need to have your credit run and messed with if you know what your score is and can get 2.49% then tell them that and Toyota will most of the time go to bat for you to match the rate.

It depends on where you live. Not all dealerships the same. I could probably buy five houses where you live. Plus I didn't want to buy a 2nd gen.

I am a manager for a decent sized bank here in Indiana. For a brand new truck or even a a truck within 5 years you should have a rate under 3%. If your credit is okay you still should be in 4s or better. Anyone can google auto payment calculator and find out really quick what your payment will be. Also consider loan fees. For example the dealer may set you up through chase they may charge a $500 loan fee. My banks fee is $175. You credit union or local bank probably has a better deal than the dealer. The only better deals are from the manufacturer. They will have the best rates most likely on brand new. Go in the dealership knowing the total price you need to get the payment you want. If you tell a dealer the payment they'll make it work but over a longer term at a higher rate.
