2020 DCSB auto. 15-17mpg combined, always traffic here. 265/70r17 wildpeaks. 1.5" lift. RTT over bed but below the roof. Bike racks on the side of the bed rack. Maybe 200lbs gear in the bed all the time. I need to drive more to get a better idea, but the mileage sucked also with the stock tires. The bike racks + bikes KILL my mileage. I drove 200 miles to buy a bike and averaged 19mpg highway with stock tires. The return trip with the bike had reduced to 16.5mpg so the bikes go in the cab for long trips

In summer I average 18-19.5 mpg, in winter 14-15mpg and that’s being in 4wd all the time and temps from 30+ to -40. I had the same mileage with 255/85r16 Maxxis MT762’s last summer and 265/70r16 Firestone winterforces studded in winter. Bone stock I averaged 20-21mpg summer and the same winter mileage.

edit - forgot to mention I get 14mpg towing our pop up camper with the whole family aboard.

I’m always curious about the good highway mpg. Mine’s just the opposite. I’ll get 20.5 mpg consistently daily driving, but about 17-18 mpg on the freeway doing 70-80 mph.

    Stock-ish
On my way to Moab from Seattle, I got 21mpg cruising at 65mph the whole way (as fast as my buddies landcruiser would go). The way back I got 18 doing 70-88mph the whole way. Truck pretty much idles on the highway with the 35s/stock gears haha

20210518_173520.jpg 2019 OR 6MT, 285 70 17 General Grabber x3 tires ,method MR316 wheels (17 inch). Lifted 3 inches front, 2 in the rear hidden winch mount, 10k winch, desert air intake,k&n filter, topper, pro skid, Tyger steel side step, oem roof rack, custom ovtune (premium gas). 450 miles on my current rims and tire set up. Hand calculated 17.2MPG with spirited driving mixed highway and city. I can (easily) get about 19 to 21mpg. These tires have more resistance than my previous 285s that were directional. But I am happy with my mpg given my driving habits and route I take. Actual mpg for this posted pic is 20.14mpg 20210316_044805.jpg

My ‘19 is stock except for load range C 265/75 16 Duratracs and my Snugtop. My topper is the up graded one rated for 500 pounds and I have no idea how much it weighs, probably well over 200 pounds maybe even close to 300? No idea. But I generally get about 18-19 mpg, it’s not much different on road trips either.

I used to average 20-22 before the tires even with the topper. I will say on road trips I rarely cruise below 70 but if I go much faster the mpg usually goes down to 17 right away.

What do you do to get that many miles in 2-3 years? My 2019 is only at 8,500 miles .

    Awesome looking truck sir!

Manuals seem to get a bit shittier mileage, mostly highway.

I’m happy with my MPGs. Mostly city driving, can’t complain.

I neither worry nor care about mileage. I drive a lot (both on and off road) and I don't waste an ounce of fuel. All my driving is necessary. So no point in worrying about mileage or cost, IMHO.
