I've been waiting for bonus time. I don't see it as soon as you. And then there's the stock market this week...

Something extremely similiar to this except flip the bracket around and use U bolts over the round Yakima bars.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
A retractable (truck width-give or take) step that folds down from under the rear bumper (so Scoobie can hop in the bed)

    This is an awesome idea!
One item that is not widely offered is fold down steps. Whether it be a full step or a single step off the side.
    Doubly useful for lifted trucks.

Great idea. I'll see what I can do. Fortunately my dog is still in good health and big enough to jump in. But there will be a day where his body says yes and his hips say no.

Subbed! I think more and more start-up companies today are going to be able to start making products on-demand like this and I love it! With the popularity of CNC machines and 3d routers and printers, manufacturers are finally going to have to come down on their pricing in order to keep selling to match companies like yours. This is such a novel idea to be able to cater to an individual's customizations rather than only mass produce popular items. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing this venture take off!

Edit: By the way there are very few occasions in this industry discussing the type of products being offered where someone comes up with ideas that are truly original. Many of the products offered by almost everyone are adaptations of other products whether made for toyota or other vehicles. As long as the OP is making his own adaptation to his products as minimal or significant as it may be then that is what makes it an original. Nothing wrong with a new company wanting to join the ranks of the other vendors in here. Hopefully his products will be given the chance to be proven in time.
PERFECT EXAMPLE. SOS Concepts. Relatively new Vendor excellent products, now a loyal following. He had to start somewhere just like this guy!

I don't disagree with most of your points. Maybe I'm just looking at it from the wrong perspective but it seems as if the op has come in here and basically copied some form of what others are already selling and have been established for quite some time. The tailgate cap is a perfect example. I agree that he should be able to sell what he wants and time will tell if it is a quality product. My concern is there hasn't been a original design (other than slight modifications) to existing products that are already being offered here. So it basically seems like copying to me.

Add to that, I've seen nothing but CAD drawings and although you can make them look good what will the finished product look / quality be?

Let's see a finished product of just one thing instead saying I'll should be able to do that. And try to come up with a relatively new idea / product rather than copying existing products with very slight modifications.

I know that I'll get flack for this post and I don't intend to come across as anti competition. This is just my perspective.

The dome lighting and steel bed storage are pretty original. The reason I say the lighting is original is that there are tons of ways to do lighting and no one can really claim the idea.

Secondly, I wouldn't ding OP for not having a tangible piece yet, he's designing and says he has fabs on the way. Time will tell if he comes through but I don't see why there wouldn't be a product soon.
