So after recently discovering I have no bottle jack to change a spare or anything, I'm in search of a jack. Should I just get an OEM one or a Hi-lift? I do some mild off-roading in mud and such, so I'd also like it to be semi-functional offroad. But I've heard there's no way to use the hi-lift unless you have sliders/aftermarket bumpers? Any ideas and suggestions would be great thanks.

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
i would get the OEM, and maybe find a pice of 4x4(or even 6x6) and maybe a 2x6 pice of wood. that will give you more hight and in dirt will displace the weight over a larger area and it wont sink in/down as much.

I have a pice of 4x4 thats about 8” long and a pice of 2x6 thats about 10” long. keep it in the truck for if and when i need it. on or off road.

also yes if you don’t have rock sliders or aftermarket bumpers a hi lift wont work. their is nothing to safely lift from with it.

ooooh, thanks blake, I was hoping that someone would chime in with their PERSONAL experiences with ordering from different on-line vendors.

Please allow me to reiterate my original question:
"can anyone recommend a vendor for ordering a hi-lift, preferably a vendor that is fairly priced, has good customer service and is knowledgable of the product, thanks in advance for any suggestions"

A hi-lift is really only a good decision if you have sliders, or bumpers, a lot of the Long travel guys run these jacks

yeah. if you HAD TO you could maybe use the hitch. but idk how safe it is. i would do what i did if i was you. maybe do like a 4x4, maybe 2 or 3 pieces of 2x6. i think that would work just fine and is safe.
