I use "Pure Steel" Little Trees and "Black Ice" Little Trees. But they lose scent after about a week, but they mix well. I'm looking for something very strong, because my truck stinks of mildew still after a water leak. The carpet was removed and cleaned, but it never got the stank out.

What do y'all use? Aged swamp ass is not an acceptable answer.

I use a bag of balsam fir needles in my lower dash center compartment. Stays fresh for months.

It changes day-to-day it's based on what the wife feeds me the night before.

That sucks op hope someone can chime in with a solution besides the obvious difficult task of gutting the truck and finding the mildew . I have gutted my interior but for audio purposes.

Try some boxes of baking soda...like those Arm & Hammer fridge packs. Might absorb some of that odor.

I tried that already, I've nuked it with Febreeze, replaced the cabin air filter and put half a million little trees in it. Nothing really to show for it, the stink keeps coming back. It may even be my Carhartt seat covers or something.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
My truck smells of Big Macs and chicken with a hint of apple fritter

I removed the back one and washed it, because it gets substantially grosser than the front ones. But the front ones are too much of a pain to remove and wash and don't really appear to smell bad. Nobody else really seems to notice, except me.

Seems like you need to get to the root of the problem if you suspect mildew/mold from the water.

I'm just not sure where else it could be coming from.

Seriously, maybe you could rent one of those ozone machines?

Anything with a scent to it is nothing but a mask.

Things like a piece of coal, apple slices, baking soda, and some others actually absorb odor. Basically anything you'd use to absorb odor like garlic, onion, fish in your fridge.

Chances are that will only give a better fix, not a permenant one.

You need to find and kill the source for that.

You mentioned AC filter. Have you cleaned the evap and flushed the drain system? If the smell is coming from your ducts, it something worth a try.

I have these little ozium pucks. They kill scent fairly well between a dog and hockey gear

I haven't had the chance to yet, I've tried baking soda but it didn't work well. If it's the headliner I'm gonna scream.
