I think you just have to be conscious of where you put the pedals. I’ll take a picture of clearance later. But if it’s an issue I think I’ll just put a tie wrap on the crank to keep it from spinning.

Right now I have a home built 5x8 off-road camper trailer. 5x8, 12v solar, onboard water, small rear galley.
Currently building a GFC style wedge camper cap, onboard water and drawer kitchen/storage.
This coming winter I plan to start the next trailer build. 5x10, 12v and 120v, no onboard water or galley since the truck will have that built in, but more storage.

Rotated the crank around. All kinds of clearance. Some campers I know have a more rounded nose than mine but this will give you an idea.

Just pulled in from a 2 week 3100 mile 8 state journey that included multiple mountain passes. From Western Washington down through Oregon to Southern California, then through Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. Finally we came back through Utah, Oregon and Idaho. Truck earned its keep. As a reward it will get new oil and filter and a 90k service. The InTech Explore towed nicely behind the Tacoma. Even through a wildfire which created its own weather and greeted us with a severe thunderstorm with lightning rain (3” in 10 minutes), hail and 75 mph gusts. Pucker Factor x10

Cool trip! Your camper looks nice, how is the interior layer out. Do you have any pictures of the interior that you could post?

Here it is when we picked it up from the dealer
    IMG_8047.jpg

The Explore is a mini toy hauler, so the interior is spartan compared to other small units. For me that’s the beauty of it because I can configure it differently based on the trip. It has a full size tip out bed that is perfect for quick trips or when it’s just me hunting, fishing, or exploring.
    IMG_0940.jpg
When it’s my wife and I plus the dog, then we use a lightweight Stansport folding cot and 4” self inflating Lost Horizon mattress as an extension, turning it into a nice king size bed. When using just the full size bed there is tons of room for eating, playing cards, escaping the rain etc. when extension is on there is room to dress and use the toilet. However even if it is extended it takes minutes to break it down so that the space is available.
    IMG_0780.jpg
It has one cupboard and several cubbies but I needed a little more shelf space so I’ve built extra lightweight storage. A Rubbermaid single drawer sits next to the shelf for all the small things we need. And 4 lightweight collapsible crates with cushioned lids store our clothes, towels, and toiletries. They also serve as seating when the bed extension is not on or store nicely and remain accessible when it is.
    IMG_1111.jpg
There is no bathroom but we have a cassette toilet and I built a lightweight enclosure out of pvc and room darkening curtains
    IMG_1029.jpg
8 gallons of fresh water with a 12v pump. The spigot is by the pull out kitchen, which consists of a two burner propane stove and refrigerator/freezer. For hot water we run a propane powered hot water on demand unit for showering or cleaning up. The whole cooking area is covered by a 270 degree awning. Showers happen in a separate 2 room shower tent.

We just purchased a 2019 Wildwood FSX 179DBK from a private sale. We've been looking for a while now and kept running into typical annoyances with RV lots near us. Then we happened across this little gem which had everything we wanted: Bunkhouse floorplan, space under the lower bunk for the dog, Murphy bed for us, large sink in the galley, tiny sink in the bathroom, and a decent-sized fridge, all for a GVRW of 3,860. Hitch weight is 480lbs, so we'll be careful loading out.

Best part is it came with a bunch of extras like a cheapo drill for raising/lowering the stabilizers, a powered front jack, and even a WDH. It's the Harbor Freight Haul Master, so we'll likely swap it out ASAP.

That said, towing from the seller's place to ours was surprisingly easy. Haven't tried any mountains, but local roads were a breeze.

We'll do some tweaking, get a better WDH, add some bump stops, grab an observation camera, and a bunch of other QOL items before our shakedown cruise this weekend.

    But yeah, we're excited.

It's what I do with mine too. I bought a cheap ridgid drill off Amazon for 42 bucks and keep it in the trailer. Speed 1 and some grease on the jack threads
