    Yeah, my mileage suffers too. If I really baby it on level state highways (below interstate speeds) i can squeak out maybe 14-15, but usually cruising down interstate i am in the 12 range.

    I'm at 10 mpg no matter what. Not really an issue now with gas scratching $2 a gallon here. But with gas at $4.3 back in 2013 I shelled out like $800 in fuel on a 1800 mile trip.

    My wife and I have a vintage 1984 UHaul CT-13 fiberglass camper. UHaul had them in their rental fleet until the early 1990s when they sold them to the public.

    Nice! My parents rented them when i was a kid for camping trips to Gettysburg. Brings back a lot of fond memories. Are you a member over at Fiberglassrv.com? If not check it out. One member over there is restoring a U-Haul and was asking for pics. I'm also a member over there with my Casita.

    That this is awesome. I hope it works out for him. I have done some reading on them and from what I understand they are illegal in the states. I could totally be wrong and hope I am cuz that's bad ass and I'd want one anytime

    Because of the age he states that it is eligible for registration in his state. Here in my state of Maryland if a vehicle is 20 years or older no inspection or emissions testing is required. Just insurance is all you need to get historic tags.
