congrats! Check every single seal on your new KZ...I went over my 2017 19FKTH with a fine tooth comb. I found I could see daylight from inside the camper looking where the city water inlet enters the camper behind my wardrobe cabinet. Also check your fride vent seals. Make sure the Buytl tape is making a tight seal around the aluminium siding, mine was not...I really wish I would have ordered on with the side a/c unit verses the big 13,500 btu I got up on the roof. I cant run the a/c unit in my driveway cause I need a 30 amp circuit,my house only has a 20 amp...Happy camping

So cool! If I bought an Airstream it would have to be a Bambi.
    And that view!
where's that campground? Anytime you can camp with a view like that is great.

I wont chance it! I read if the a/c doesnt have enough start up power it could damage the compressor

We stopped and talked to a couple with a 20yo Scamp. Scamp is still building the same floor plan today. Scamps appear to be well built and people hang on to them. Scamp is our current camper of choice, saving so we can factory order ours:thumbsup:

I know I just posted this cause you said you couldn't find one to look at in your area..thought it would help is all...I decided not to go with a scamp cause they don't have a 4 seasons package , started to look into http://escapetrailer.com instead..still yet to get one as wife says if I can't see it I don't want it and I'm not willing to drive 1k miles to go see one lol but they are very nice on the phone and willing to send brochure out to you quickly..

Yeah. I thought the ones they had on the lot here were '16s, but it turns out they were '17s.

They happened to have them on the lot in town, and after looking at the and doing some research they seemed to have everything we needed. We wanted something lightweight, but still able to sleep at least four people.

2016 lance 1575.tows nicely behind our Tacoma. Averaged just shy of 15mpg round trip on first outing. Love the room in this when the dinette slides out. Sleeps 4 comfortably. IMAG1716.jpg

I've run the AC on a 20A circuit at home several times on my X213 with a 13,500 unit with no issues.

This thread is helping me a lot. I'm looking to get a trailer and need to get something that both my Tacoma and 4Runner can pull. A lot of good advice on here. I had a bad habit of not giving the trailers too much thought when I had my f250

Going to pick this guy up in a few hours.

Got a Teksonha (?) brake controller installed...not going with a weight distribution hitch yet. We'll see how the 2012 DCSB 4x4 pulls it first.

Curious how it tows for you. 406lb hitch weight is about 50lbs lighter than our trailer and the Taco sags a lot before I hook up the chains on the WD hitch.
