Didn't know NoBo's had gotten that big! I like the azdel and having the dual axles. Also an interesting layout. Have fun!

It's amusing because at that size, there are definitely boundaries.

    Red Arc brake controller

Everything was stable and solid as I could hope for. I kept it at 55mph (California towing limit) and it was about 2500rpm in 4th and 3500 in 3rd.

Dang! We've got the 16.5 and I can feel that back there. How's the 19.6 feel?

Wife and I have been out twice with it since we got it mid May. Great little rig.

Ohh you feel it. Not too bad. No worse than pulling 3 horses in a trailer with living quarters loaded to the gills and having them shifting around.
Drove home from dealership, 65 miles, with about 20 gal. of water and up some small hills and it did fine. Maintained 60-70 mph at about 2500-3000 rpm.
It kicked down to third when I hit hills and it did great.

Finally got the brake controller installed. I had a Wildwood FSX 178BHSK on order and it came in last week. Heading out tomorrow to pick her up.

I picked a 178bhsk Salem earlier this year. We like it a lot. I upgraded the factory tow package trans cooler as I was hitting 203 when 75 out cruising at 55mph. What did that thing run ya?

I got it for right under 15. A bit higher than I would have liked, but no one was budging on price. I've heard the trans runs pretty hot towing this much weight. What kind of trans cooler did you put on?

I replaced it with a Long LPD 4490. Got it on eBay for $66 shipped and it comes with everything you need to hook it up. Sounds like you did good on price. I picked mine up out of state for $15K even out the door and that included a WDH installed. Then I had to pay taxes when I my state, so in total just under $16K. Most dealers wanted closer to $18K out door when I was shopping around earlier this year and that was without a WDH.

Was able still keep horns in general area of engine bay. Seemed like a lot of folks have ended up having to relocate them totally.
