I like the Anderson but have only towed about 2000 mi with it. I haven't noticed any movement on the brackets so far. Because of the C channel frame I didn't use the set screws that are used to lock them in place.

Ah... so the Anderson mounts curl into the c channel? I towed once with a rental and that hitch was simply two long u bolts and I found the frame mounts rotated fore and aft because there really wasn’t much to prevent that.

No, they don't curl into the channel. I'm not sure how to best explain but the channel is sandwiched between the very heavy duty brackets and are just behind the weld for the propane tanks which would keep them in place. I really don't see them moving.

We purchased a used 2020 Kodiak Cub back in July and are enjoying it very much. The walk-around bed sealed the deal for my better half.

What, you can't change a fitted sheet while awkwardly shuffling around on top of the bed? :D

I'd also like to know! My daughter has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and one side is pushed up against the wall. To make the bed I usually pull the mattress half way out and climb over it, make the one side, and then push it back on. Tell us your secrets!

I feel your pain. I usually kneel on the front half and flip the back half up to hook the sheet on. Not much room to work around, but the view is nice.

Crawl onto the bed to the corner of the bed in the corner. Tuck the sheet over that, then go pull it across the top or to the foot.
I used to do the outside corner first as it was out front. But then I had to kneel on the sheet as I was trying to stretch it to the far in corner.

I really feel sorry for my parents growing up. In our camper they had a full or queen sized bed that had walls on all sides of it. Only 1 corner of the bed was open to crawl in from. He'll to put sheets on.

That is good to hear. That floor plan seems to be a great family floor plan for a trailer around the 4,000lb mark.

Good to know. Appreciate it. I waffle between this and the blue ox. And I don’t even have a trailer yet. LOL.

I've been back and forth on deciding between a hard-sided or tent trailer. What you got here?

Popup. I'm one of the few crazy stupid bastards that prefer it over a hard side, hands down.

Pros- fits in the garage, super easy to tow, and there is nothing in the world like opening up all the windows and letting the breeze flow. No other trailer has those 360 degree views.

Cons- takes 30-45 minutes to park, level and pitch, unlike 10-15 for a hard side. No insulation. The air conditioner, despite being way over sized for the unit, doesn't so much cool you down as it just keeps you from dying in the greenhouse. Heater does slightly better at night. It's impossible to access the fridge in travel mode. It's not fun folding up when it's raining.

Despite all that, I woke up this morning to the breeze, the sunrise, and the deer grazing just 10 feet off the port side aft corner. I would have missed all that with the tiny windows of hard trailer.
