What are your thoughts on the Trailer Valet? Been considering one so we can turn the trailer 90deg in the driveway and make it a sort of guest quarters but the reviews seem pretty mixed on them.

So far I love it. It was the only reasonable way I was going to get the trailer into place there. Disconnect trailer from truck and be able to turn where I wouldnt have the room I need with the truck to back it in.

The 1 hiccup I ran into is coming up the curb to the yard, the gearing was great but the tires on the valet were slipping on the ground and couldn't push it up.

Once I added a couple boards as a ramp for the trailer wheels I got it up smoothly.

    OOH I'll play!

Here is our 5x8 Squaredrop Trailer, hovers around 1450lbs loaded with water and supplies. 1150 empty.

We just got back from a 12k mile, 7 week "overland" (I hate that word) road trip, towing the trailer.

We are up in the air on selling it. Would make a good amount of money off of it but we would never be able to afford one again

Last I looked two years ago they were $31k usd the way I wanted it configured, can only assume now with travel restrictions etc more like $40-45k usd. I’ll have to look at what’s out of my price comfort still. :canada::laughing:

:(:(:( *edit* I just looked up current pricing, might as well buy an airstream for that price! :angrygirl:

:rofl:Yep it’s a good time to currently own one! We are so glad that we didn’t get a airstream though. So much storage room and we have a little over 200 nights in it so far.

I have a feeling the secondary market is going to get flooded over the next couple years as folks that bought during covid start to realize they didn't need or really even want one. That's when I'll strike!

Bought a 27’ ~4000 lb travel trailer, and after the first trip realized I’d be pushing the taco a little too hard. Took advantage of the current used truck market and traded ‘er in for a tundra. I wish I could afford to just have both trucks! I already miss my taco.

Here is mine for a Full Size Truck though. Four Wheel Camper Grandby Model. New Four Corner Lifts installed that were $600.00. I think $1,500.00 is fair. One lift has been replaced other needs done but functional. LMN! More pics if requested. It does have the Alaska Package. Maybe Posting in the wrong thread? :notsure: Garage Kept since owned! For its age its really nice. Comes with a dolly too!
