Nice! My camper definitely wouldn't make it to there!

Doubt my knees would get me out of that chair either!

Looks like you or the dealer did a great job setting up the weight distribution hitch. Sometimes, the dealers can do a half-assed job of it.

Lol must be the angle of the photo…

I had every intention of installing the WDH myself but whilst doing the walk through the dealer said let them do it. Mistake… as the technician is showing me how to disconnect it, he mentions I would have been better off getting a WDH and not just the sway control he just installed. Driving away from the dealer the the whole set up was very bouncy. I re-installed it myself and all is perfect now and have done 1,200 miles down the 101 without any white knuckles.

Just got my Patriot X1. Guys over at Exploration Outfitters are seriously top notch folks. Slightly noticeable behind my DCLB, but definitely an easy tow behind the Tacoma. Only downside is being on stock gearing with slightly larger tires. I saw 3rd gear more than I was hoping. Just threw it in S5 and it handled pretty well.

I think you might be the first person I've seen outside of the marketing photos that has a Gobi rack on a Tacoma. I absolutely loved mine on my 4Runner, but it seems like basically no one uses them on Tacomas. How do you like it?

I absolutely love my gobi! I helped my old boss install his on his 4Runner and it made me want one. Biggest problem was the freaking price. I actually found mine on offer up. The dude had dropped the price to 600ish cause it wasn’t selling. Being able to basically throw anything up there like wood or camp stuff and tie it down with a net was a must for me.

Fwiw, Gobi is a tank. I haven’t heavily used the one on my taco, but I got my miles out of the one in my FJ.

How has the Conquest been with towing/setup? Any "need to know" issues you came across? It has been at the top of my list along with the Coleman Lantern 17B. Curious about real peoples experiences, good looking setup!

It’s actually lighter compared to the Jayco hybrid I traded in . I’m glad I bought a cover for it because of the type of siding on it . I bought this from a dealer used and there are some black stripes on the siding I can not get off but they are not too bad . I need to get a spare tire for it yet . Did not come with one for some reason .

    Here is our 2020 Flagstaff E-Pro 20BHS. ~3500lbs dry.

We bought it used last April. Wife wanted a new one, but none were available in our area for next few months, so we decided to grab this one year old one.
Got a wdh, so it's not swayi g or bouncing around, and it tows pretty ok. We took it on a nice road trip 6k in July, and we enjoyed the hell out if it!
As for towing with a taco on 33s and stock gears, not so much.

Hey @lynyrd3, did you work out your issue with a black tank sensor?
I'm having a similar issue, but mine shows 2/3 pretty much as soon as we start using it.

No I did not . I’m going to have to look into new sensors. Hot water and soap and driving around didn’t do a thing .
