I have some moderately expensive flash lights, but find that I use the el cheapo lights 10x more often. I don’t like rechargeable lights in a vehicle, don’t want to leave them plugged in and if I don’t they are dead when I need one.

so I run lights that take AA or AAA batteries. Problems there too, since everyone has moved battery production to China, the alkaline batteries leak, they ALL leak. I’ve ruined some expensive electronics with leaky batteries. So I tried something I saw online, cheap dollar store batteries. I use the red and white or blue batteries from Dollar Tree, they run 6 for $1. I’m sure they don’t last as long as say Duracell’s, but they are far cheaper, non alkaline so they don’t leak, and a few packs of spare batteries is cheap insurance.

I came across my current flashlight(s) about 5 years ago. Some tech podcast mentioned this flashlight that is usb rechargeable, water resistant and fits on a keychain. Ordered it off the web and loved it right away. I was so impressed, that I contacted Nitecore and started selling them in my little jewelry/curio shop. I've given them away to friends. They'll stop in and buy them for gifts for anyone. I will be honest, most times it's easier to pull out my cell phone, yet it's so much easier to use this flashlight. They only sell for about $10 to $12. It's nice since it's always on me.

I haven't tried this newer version, and considering it charges quicker, it'd be a better choice. I'd guess about 2-3 hours to fully charge the first version.

How do you like your seat Jackers? Just got a set myself but haven’t put any seat time in yet. Hoping they help with preventing my ass from getting sore on longer trips.

I live in the desert, so we have the UV version to look for scorpions when checking the mail at night this time of the year. Trust me, you will not like getting stung while wearing flip-flops.

Does anyone still use/recommend the KB Voodoo Nitecore flashlights? They were the schizz a few years ago.

Once upon a time I had a friend who kept sleeping in and missing class. I started going by his dorm room and pounding on his door to wake him up. He would open his door in his tighty whities. always a Fleshlight on his bed sheets behind him.

These are well worth the price ($20 for 3 pack). I have them scattered all over the house and truck.
