Have you checked out the Nitecore HC90? Just got mine and it's pretty good, little pricey tho.

I keep a Fenix HL60R headlamp in my center console.
And I have a Zebralight Hd600 Fd III inside my GHB always among other things.

I wouldn't buy anything NiteCore. WHEN it goes bad you will not get it replaced, and if you buy it on Amazon, it will magically disappear from all your transaction records. So you won't get anything from them either. China can hack anything in seconds, ask Putin.

After a while, you realize you really don't want a piece of chit replacement anyway, and chalk it up to experience.

I bought a USA made Fenix, better and cheaper w/rock solid warranty.

I like my LED Triple A MagLite. Slips in my pocket on the way out the door. If I need my hands free I can put it in my mouth. Different strokes for different folks.

    They do very well.

Higher capacity and lower parasitic drain. Plus, i can leave my main flashlight plugged into a usb cable to charge (fenix uc35) if I'm really worried about it.

And yes, this includes winters in places where it actually gets cold, not just southern az.

I do not own a Nitecore flashlight but I bought a Nitecore charger on Amazon over a year ago and it still shows in my records, congrats on the Fenix, they have high quality products.

You don't need to be paranoid about Nitecore.

We've sold hundreds of MH25's and not one has ever had a single issue.

I personally own a bunch of Nitecore lights. They get used all the time, and never a single issue.

I can't comment on their customer service because I've never had to use it.

I have nothing against Nitecore, I was just commenting about things going missing from Amazon records, I have never had that happen. Everyone that I know that has a Nitecore light loves it.

We all have our favorite brands, the good thing is that the market is flooded which makes them be somewhat competitive with each other. There are lots of good lights to choose from. I have many different brands but my favorites are Fenix and Govolt.

I have my early 80's three D cell ancient black maglite mod'ed with a new modern LED bulb. I just couldn't see getting rid of my trusty old maglite. It is still water tight after 35 years.
