engine mods in california are very strict. if i recall, there is very little that you are allowed to do to the engine.

of course, your engine mods only get looked at when you get a visual inspection during a smog check. so, if you can find a shop that will overlook your engine mods, then the skies the limit :)

I think you want to make sure any parts you buy are CARB approved or CARB exempt.

Or if the po-po decides to get investigative on you for being a jerk.:D I thought there were a couple of CARB approved intakes out there...just make sure it is LABLED as such though...automatic fail if it isn't. CARB sucks btw.

You'd have to have a CARB ID number with the sticker.

AEM Brute Force Intake, Innovation Tonneau, Tint.
AEM Brute Force Air Induction is pending approval. By the time you need to get it smogged, it'll have been approved. Just ordered mine last week autoanything hosed me, so I won't be getting it shipped for a couple weeks. I'll let you know how everything pans out, with pics if you can hold out 2-3 weeks...imagine my disappointment.

Other websites have them in stock and not on b/o if you're impatient...
