I've been told two things. Do they have drum brakes on the rear? What are the best brake pads?

Drum and stock shoes. These are not sports cars and for the most part the stock brakes are adequate. If you need more front rotors and pads are easy to upgrade with good bang for your buck. Some good threads on the subject.

I couldn't tell you what is the 'best' . I'm happy with the braking and longevity of the Original Equipment pads and shoes..

Others will have their favorites for their own reasons.

Wish l could give you a better answer.

I would suggest using the search feature and searching brakes rotors. That way you'll get more responses that will answer your questions.
