Hey OP why don't you roll over the speed bump slowly and when your front tire gets off the speed bump STOP, put truck in park, e-brake, and open the door look under the truck and find out.

If you do this, MAKE sure there are no cars coming and going. :)

Mine would scrape on even smallest bumps, I trimmed my front mud flaps about 3" and it never scraped again. Even though it's just a plastic mud flap, it made a sound like I was scraping my frame on the asphalt. Either trim your front mud flaps or take them off, which ever you prefer, and you won't scrape again. It was a first mod I did.

Base models are a little over 8" of ground clearance. Pre/4x4 are a little over 9".

Sorry all for not replying long time ago, thank you for all your posts. I feel like a jackass because all of you who said it was the mud flaps were correct. Shortly after I asked this question I got off when it was scraping and saw it was the mud guards.

When people said it was the mud flaps I couldnt see how rubber flaps could make this noise. Well that is it they are hard plastic unlike the rear ones.

Anyway just wanted to clear this up, admit that I was wrong and praise the taco forum gurus for their guidance.
