God I've always loved the Infidel, considered getting 1 out of state but a felony weapons charge in CA has me skiddish. I just replaced my lost Kershaw Shallot damascus with an identical one, loved it & missed it so much I couldn't do with any other:

Kershaw speedsafe (a Chineese Kershaw...so it's not a 'real' one) or an Ontario Rat, depends on the day...

The Rat is pretty big, I like the Kershaw a bit better.

the charges here you can get for having any prohibited weapon are harsh. Could get 5 years just for having one on you.

    Spyderco fan boy :)

One of my favorrite camping stories is when my buddy broke the tip off his shiny new spiderrco showing off around the camp fire :) Good knives, but don't use them as screw drivers...

love spyderco blades. They're great for EDC but would never use one while camping.

For camping I always carry my Kabar BK2 which is getting replaced this year with the Gough Custom I got. BK2 was great but just too fuckin heavy

The nicest blade on here so far, it's a Chris Reeves Serbenza. Smooth as butter.

I have a few dozen that fall in that category, mostly Microtechs, Protechs. I hand a sebie but a buddy wouldn't leave me alone over it so I sold it to him thinking I'd just replace it. But I haven't yet.
