Fact, TOYOTA stands behind their products when others run

This statement isn't true anymore. Toyota is like the rest these days.

Well mine is losing coolant somewhere haha. It’s at the dealer right now.
we shall see once they fix my disappearing coolant issue… I also might have to pay the 195 diagnostic fee if they (I quote) “can’t find any issues”. That’s the issue.

Do know you had enough coolant to begin with? Could be something as simple as the hose on the coolant overflow tank being loose.

It’s lost coolant where the reservoir is empty after 4K miles. Happened twice so far and I’m only at 8200miles. They are contacting corporate for it. No leaks visually.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/low-coolant-empty-reservoir.774806/

Edit: rear coolant bypass was the issue. They need better ways of testing each part if this seems to be an issue. Are the consumers really the new QC?

Front cover leaks. Ugly but wont effect performance. 4x4 Actuators can fUp if not used monthly and/or get wet. Factory fills can be low/high. Not much else during the first 6 years.

Tell them there is an issue, it’s losing coolant. Just because they can’t find the cause doesn’t resolve the issue. No charge.

Take it easy Bradley, my point is/was, the fact that you purchased a vehicle . And after the fact you're worrying about problems.Enjoy your new ride., Don't get so feisty .

The main problem seems to be the 2nd Gen peeps complaining about the 3rd Gen Tacoma, they could be jealous : ). I’ve got 34’s and when the skinny pedal is pressed abruptly, the truck moves quite well, still surprises me sometimes.

I’ve been sorta looking around, test drove a couple of vehicles, but 2 years & 24K miles later, I’m still in the Tacoma, zero issues.

Fo real tho! If they can’t diagnose anything then I want my effing diagnostic fee back! It’s their excuse to make money when people come in for “no issue” even though they have symptoms or just plain anxiety.

"Toyota stands behind their products" because if they are in the front they might get run over, that said there's a difference between toyota corp and toyota dealerships.

Toyota really stands behind its products lol. How about not fixing white paint that is flaking of 3 year old cars.

It’s not engine related, just another issue that needs knitting out on these trucks. Rear differential starting to seep in between the bolts. 22’. Just found it today when going to do my oil. 11k miles.
I’ve always had driveshaft clunking noises from day one. Usually when shifting to a gear out of neutral or coming to a stop.
