I'm buying some SS brake lines from Crown Performance. I have Dobinson's +2" leaf springs in the rear, and Dobinsons +1" struts, and +2" springs in the front.

Should I get the +2" or +3" brake lines?

Front go with stock length. I went with +1 and it's not necessary (it's not bad either just not required).

Rear I don't know what +2 or +3 means total length but I think the rear Crown lines I got from Headstrong were 24" long and that's a pretty good length. I have Deaver U402 stage 2 leafs for 2.5" of lift and they are not a limiting factor. Hope that helps to decide.

Up front stock length is fine. I also went with extended there and they were unnecessary.

I have a set of Crown rears for sale +3" over stock if you're interested. Very light usage. I needed to add +1" after I added the Hammer Hangers because my rear ADS shocks are crazy long so these are available, and no 3 week lead time for em. Shoot me a message if interested.

I think there is a standard size without choosing. That’s what I got from ToyTec.

I mean yeah some places may have more options. But it’s been fine on Icon RXT op3.

if I had rear shock relocate then I’d be looking if it’s long enough. Or link kit.

I don't see anywhere that I'm able to buy just the fronts.

Edit - actually, I see now that ToyTec sells just the front. Are the toytec's as good as the Crown's? I see the Crown lines recommended quite a bit.

The extra length in the rear won't cause me any problems for the time being? I do plan to do hammer hangers soon as well. But not sure about shock relocation.

Crown is pretty cool they will let you order whatever. You really only need the longer rears when lifting. I don't notice any different in brake feel like I have with cars so I wouldn't say the front is even necessary. There is a bunch of room for the rear lines and with the lift you already have you'd be fine with my set. My rear shocks are 26.6" extended vs most other extended length shocks that are still 1-2" shorter so I really only needed the extra length for my specific set after doing the hammers. For any other shocks without relocation you should be fine with mine if you wanted em.

Do you think the ToyTec's are just as good for the fronts? Or should I wait longer and get the crown lines? My rubber lines have some cuts in them, so I'm replacing them one way or another.

Would you take $40 for your rears? I really don't want red, but, for a good enough deal, I'll jump on it.

2007... 2" lift front/back with ext travel coilovers/ext travel shocks/rxt leaf pack. The front oem brake line gets stretched pretty good at full lock/full travel. Ended up getting this kit for both front and back. Anything over 1" up front takes a chance of getting in the way with surrounding parts/damaged at full lock. These are crown lines... the ones i recieved were smoked color.

You linked to a pair of rear brake lines. You didn't use those front and back, did you?

Nvm, I see the options at the bottom now.

Just another option for you - @SomethingNew71 makes some nice SS brake lines https://store.classicminidiy.com/co...cts/3rd-gen-tacoma16-23-stainless-brake-lines

I just bought these from him this week and they shipped the next day. Appears to be a high quality product and I'll be installing mine next week with new brakes.

Great timing on this thread as I was just getting ready to swap out my lines for SS braided sets. Picked up a set from HS offroad.

Headstrong Off-road sells Crown lines in a stock-ish configuration and at a good price. Just some info for anyone else reading this.
