what lift kit to buy

I have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma prerunner 2wd. I want a 6" lift kit but most that i have seen have a 6" coil spacer for the front. I have owned several lifted trucks and have never done more than 3" spacer to level the truck out. Is it ok to use 6" coil spacer or should i buy the kit with actual coil overs?

 

How about a spindle lift?

 

All the spindle lifts i see still come with a spacer that sits on top of the strut

This one provides 4" of lift from the spindle and 2.5" from a spacer. If you want a 6+ inch lift I believe that's the only way to do it with spindles at least.

You could do a 4" spindle lift without spacers too.

 

Do you not have to have the subframe drop down bracket?

 

I have no idea. I don't know much about spindle lifts since my Tacoma is a 4x4.
