I am shopping around for a 2 1/2 - 3" level lift kit for my brand new 2019 TRD Sport Access cab. I'm going to run 285/70 x 17s BFG KO2s. 2 wheel drive.

I've talked to a few shops, Kings, Icons, and Fox seem to be what they want to put on my truck. Money isn't a huge issue, I don't do a great deal of OR so I'm going for a look, but I'll do Mexico surf trips too.

Icons have gotten a bit of a bad rap, too few shops rebuild, they rust, Kings are fu*king expensive yada yada yada.

I can afford Kings, but not the the full boat racing stuff. I'll do UCAs for sure, but what do you "experts" recommend?

    Thanks.

I had OME...not designed for what I do. Too damn stiff...wore out my UCA ball joints faster than I would expect. Seems preloaded and valved for loaded overlanders.
The stuff I drive is more desert/forest trailriding. At times speeds of 60+ mph can be achieved and these ADS shocks feel amazing once they brake in. You should get what will work for what you like to do. I personally don’t care for Kings. Great shocks, just not my style. The other hi-end option I like is the Bilstein 8112’s and your choice of rear.

You should get what fits your needs

I would recommend contacting Marie at Headstrongoffroad.com

After a bit of looking around, I am going to call her.

I only hear good things about this company.
