What gear setup do you have to do?
Not to threadjack, but I have a PR 4cyl and found a 3rd member out of a TRD Sport (craigslist used). Should be plug & play, right? Obviously my gearing would change to 3.73 but I think I'm willing to try it to get LSD in my 2wd...
Or would gear setup only be if you only had the clutch pack and not the whole 3rd member?

If you're talking a complete 3rd member swap....that's different and 'could be' a plug & play(for the most part).

That's only if the diff/3rd member are the same size and the axle shafts are the same diameter & spline count. I'm not rehearsed with Toyota diffs/3rd members but I know they're not all exactly the same. As long as you know what your purchasing will match what you have (axle shafts).

Gear setup would be if you're swapping the carrier into your 3rd member.
