But are they the same on the base SR? I'm assuming this is what the OP has.

    this is 2nd gen section?

    no "SR" iirc

so the base model has base model seats, not trd buckets

Don't all the TRDs have the same blue and yellow bilstein shocks? I think the leaf packs are the same also. So it's just the coils and sway bar that are the difference in suspension, correct?

lol dude who cares. put whatever you want on your truck and forget those losers who will whine because you're being a "poser". if you like, do it. just make sure to let the buyer know if you decide to sell. that would be a douche move.

yes turds have the yllw and blue billys, look alot like the 4600s

leaf packs are open to differences based on what leaf packs.. TSB, non TSB, recall, or otherwise.

then later on i THINK the baja/txbros or some crap had a 2+1 and the sports and sr5 may have had the 3+1?

still subject to tsb/non tsb/recall crap

offroad is progressive coils, sport is linear.

    larger sway on sport

Only things left on my truck from the "Sport package" are the LSD and color matched grill and rear bumper. Oh, and the fancy bedside stickers.

I love my ATRAC and locker! And yes research is the key. I researched what I wanted for months before I found my truck.

As has been said, TRD versions denote factory option packages that include both cosmetic and functional changes to the "Base" model. Can't tell what year Tacoma you have, OP, but a summary of option packages (incl TRDs) for the 2013 MY is on pp 10-14 of the atchd...

I remember a friend of mine with a non-TRD who hung his hat on the fact that 'while not too big around, 'at least it is short'.
