My 2001 LTD has this-"black chrome" front bumper; color matched fender flares;chrome grillmouth, chrome sideviews, chrome rear bumper, chrome door handles; power sideviews; 16" alloys; privacy-tinted windows with rear slider; fancier sunvisors with vanity; whiteface guages with dual tripmeters; power windows and doorlocks; leather wheel and shifter; intermittent wipers; cruise; velvet fabric sport seats with driver power lumbar; and high end stereo with 6 speakers.
I also have the TRD package which is offroad-tuned suspension (Tokiko gas shocks and progressive springs) a locking diff and the stickers. I assume this is for '01s-'04s

I have had a Limited ('98) and currently have an SR5 ('96). For all intents and purposes, they are both Limited's, but as 3.4 said, the 'Limited' badge wasn't introduced until '98. The interior of my '96 SR5 is exactly what was offered in the 98-00 Limited's with the exception of the 1 touch 4wdemand button - sport buckets with manual lumbar bolster, center console, cruise, tilt, power windows, locks and antenna in that wonderful blue/gray color, sunroof, and power chrome mirrors. The '98 Exterior offered color matched flares and limited badging.

The interior on my '98 Limited, virtually the same as my '96 SR5 interior:

My '98 Limited w/TRD package, long gone :(

We both have pretty rare trucks because I had no idea that there was a 'Limited' package before '98 - by that I mean you could get the sport buckets and sunroof for 96 and 97.

    Nice pics!
My 95 pre-tacoma was an SR5 and had all those goodies of your 96.
I really miss the 7 way adjustable sport seats, way comfy imo.
A couple of years ago I found the removable sunroof shade when moving. I never used it so it was mint. Sold it on ebay for $125  (no reserve auction).
I thought I would get a couple of bucks, I mean it was a piece of carboard with clips & some vinyl.
Worked for me & the buyer was happy.

It's cause they don't make that sunroof shade anymore. Today it probably would've gone for $200 and I would pay that much. It gets real hot in the cab in the summer without that thing (mine didn't come with it) so I bought some 3.5% super gangsta tint and tinted the sunroof glass.

"the 'Limited' badge wasn't introduced until '98."
I can only attest to the 1995 year but there was a limited badge on the doors of that year. It had the power ant, chrome power mirrors and nicer seats than my SR-5.
Wish I still had the brochure so I could post pics.

There were never any badges on any 1st gen Tacoma doors aside from 'Toyota Tacoma'. Badging aft of the access cab window started in '98 with either 'SR5' or 'Limited'...anyways -----

1995 was the last year of the Hilux and the highest option package was the SR5 V6 (available from '89-95, virtually unchanged save for exterior graphics). The only SR5 label was on the tailgate only. Are you talking about a 95.5? If so that is obviously a Tacoma and...

In 95.5 the highest option package was again the SR5 though it eventually became more of a marketing tool as you could get an SR5 with a split bench and in a 4 banger. Check out this link in which you can view the brochure for the 95.5 - it lists the SR5 V6 as the highest option -

Lastly, I found this youtube video on that site, which made me proud to own my 1st gen all over again:

    Yes I'm talking Tacoma.
I had one of the first that I bought in June of 1995.

Wish I had some pictures because there was a limited that year and there was some badging on the side door or front fender.
Been 15 years ago but still etched in my mind.

I bought a used 2002 tacoma ext cab 4x4 and it has all leather interior, the truck has no badges or stickers, so I don't know what model it is, but the question I have is did toyota ever offer leather seats or did the original owner add aftermarket seats?

x2, i was all ready to post what little I know about the Limited models, but this is all the info. you'll ever need. On a related note, the 95-97 real sr5 was the holy grail back in the day, I see very few of those.
