October 23 2017 build date. The last run of the 5-speed manual transmission, likely forever. 7513 refers to the model code for the SR 2.7L 5-speed 4x4.

I like the way that it looks and drives. I'm also satisfied with the fuel mileage considering the size and weight. Great vehicle.

 

I like this thread and have to check its progress regularly. It reminds me why I like my Tacoma. I have spent time and effort on another thread and after reading the posts and hearing the “mine is bigger than yours,” or “I’m right, your wrong,” attitudes, I am ready to check out a GM twin. I thought I left that mentality behind when I sold my Wrangler and quit following the Jeep forums.

Now before anyone gets their feathers ruffled....I am not going to look at a GM twin. Besides it is raining and I spent all day yesterday detailing the Taco. I love looking at it all clean and shiny sitting in the garage.

 

It's big enough to transport what it needs to, powerful enough to take care of my needs and it's still small enough to fit into my garage.

 

At first I was like is an ok truck. But why is that I love my Tacoma more and more and more!

i like that it gets better than 12MPG, unlike my old truck.
i like being able to plug in iPod into it and still use a CD for when i HAVE to listen to something i bought at a show.
i like how capable it is for work (fire roads, mountain trails, snow).
i like how the access cab gives me and my significant other enough room up front and there's just ample storage in back, but not so much that people ask for rides.
Barcelona Red is a gorgeous colour.

I love how it looks, the never ending lists of mods I can do(everyone needs a hobby right?), it can carry everything I need and more, it gets good gas mileage.

 

When my old lady is being a **** it starts every time.

 

I love that it’s just a cool looking truck. I haven’t even lifted it yet or added new wheels but it already looks badass. It’s a great truck and I’ve had no issues with it. I couldn’t be happier that I bought a Taco.

 

I’ve had my truck since September and already have 20k miles on it.

I love the following.

-How capable it is. Everything I need a truck for it handles and then some.
-I have something different then all my friends and their Fords
-How many compliments I get on it. At least once every couple weeks someone tells me how sharp looking my truck is. Including my boss who told me today he’s buying one.
-Interior for me is set up perfectly.

Everything about this truck makes me happy. I can't park it and walk away without looking back. Driving it is a dream. My 2 yr old calls it the monster truck. LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!
