If I keep my foot out of it and do the speed limit for an entire tank of gas, I get right at 20. I didnt believe it the first time I did the math, tried it again and came up the same. Dont know about the highway yet, only got 6700 miles and havent taken a road trip yet

I got you beat. I've gone 123 miles on the highway before my needle even starts to move.

    2.7 litre, 2wd, 5-speed, 65 mph, cruise control on, 30-31 mpg highway, coasting downhill...between lights....drafting...etc., 25-26 in town.

    Shift @ 2,000...and shift from 2nd to 4th in town. Accelerate easily...tires inflated to 40 lbs cold...etc.

    I love my truck.

The only real highway driving i have done so far with my truck was 1900 miles from las Vegas to Grand Forks ND pulling a 5200# car trailer. I saw 12.7mpg in the Utah mountains and 9mpg on the flat stuff through Nebraska, SD and ND. In the mountains i could pop it into OD on the long down hills where i wasn't worried about the grade. on the flat stuff I had to keep it locked in 4th the whole way to keep it from shifting back and forth. That and the fact that all I could get was 10% ethanol corn gas in those states. I saw a 2MPG drop from that alone.
