I'm glad I didn't jump on the 5100 wagon. When I first got on the site that's all I heard about was 5100 this and 5100 that... luckily I waited around long enough to realize there are better options.

Can't you just take the plastidip off? And seat covers! How could I forget about those!

Did you end up keeping the Smittybuilt steps? I'm confused. What about the sliders did you not like?

regretting my lift because the vibration from front diff.. didn't change much with the ecgs bushing either.

Just a bunch of old crap
My only regret was going with a shitty Revtek spacer lift for my first lift. Had it about a year and went a better route. Luckily it wasn't an expensive mistake, but I wish I would have done my homework instead of just looking for a budget lift so I could put tires on.

Everyone said I was going to regret my All-Pro plate bumper, but I still love it. F all you AP haters.

If I was to do it again, I wouldn't lift it. The ecgs took care of one vibration but I still have others and they aggravate the hell out of me

Co-signed. Ready to take mine off. The truck drove nice when I bought it. I've got many years of payments to go and I don't think I can deal with the lack of ride quality for the next 4 years :(.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Regret folding tonneau. Hinge seals failed in a couple years. Froze shut a few times. Leaked. Liking the Softopper now.

Really? That sucks! I was thinking about getting it because I thought it would take care of the vibes. Do they still go away when you put it in 4hi? If not, you might have something else going on. Also, how much lift do you have?

Also, did you install the ECGS bushing, or pay to? If you did, how involved was it?

Did you do the ECGS bushing?

I've noticed a lot of AP hate too. I bought their IFS skid to get some protection for the front diff. I haven't really had a chance to test is out, but it seems strong enough to me. I don't anticipate any problems when I do get to test it though.

Can you elaborate? What vibe did it take care of? Do you get vibe still when you put it into 4hi?

Why do people hate on AP bumpers? I got my rear in the paint shop right now.
