What movies were filmed where you live?

Blood in Blood out was filmed in my hood, E.LA.

 

Anchorman took place here, I don't think they actually shot here though. I'll do further research.

 

Traffic was shot in downtown San Diego.

The Lost World Jurassic Park was partially filmed in downtown San Diego (street shots were fiilmed in Long Beach or something though).

Top Gun was filmed here.

Some parts of A Day Without a Mexican were filmed here I think.

Probably many more that I decided to stop looking for.

681 specific scenes of Walker, Texas Ranger were shot in and around Austin, Texas.

That should count.

 

im gonna have to research it a bit more........but the ones i know of for sure are "the patriot" with mel gibson, some campy ass horror flick called "asylum"(straight to dvd), carrie 2:the rage was filmed close to here, shallow hal was right up from where i work, some jason patric movie was filmed here....i think it was called "walker" or something. i was called 4 times to be an extra in "the patriot", but i couldnt get off work!!

Shawshank Redemption was filmed at least in part at the Mansfield Reformatory which is relatively near to me. I know a few others have been filmed there as well, but I can't remember which. Also an episode of Ghost Hunters because it's supposedly pretty haunted.

The Deerhunter
Christmas Story
Antwone Fisher
and of course, Major League was partly filmed in the old Stadium that has since been torn down.

WKRP was never filmed in Cincinnati but I thought the Drew Carey show was in Cleveland
