I just recently purchased my '06 DCSB PreRunner SR5 4L truck, and the previous owner removed the OEM radio and installed a Pioneer DEH-X6500BT unit in it's place.

I'm returning the truck to 100% Stock, so I'm looking to purchase the OEM radio that was in this truck originally?

How do I determine what part number/model number/manufacturer are for that OEM unit? I've seen JBL as one of the manufacturers, and I believe a Delco unit...I'm not sure.

    Thanks...
    Jim

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Not being critical at all.

    Genuinely curious as to why?

Especially the head unit, of which the OE unit was certainly nothing special.

I just want the truck to go back to stock.....no particular reason....and I really hate the looks of the dash with the Pioneer unit installed and the compartment directly below it empty. I also need to replace the module containing the Hazard Flasher switch, as that switch is scratched badly and really looks like crap (it does work though).

The ONLY reason I bought this truck is so that I would have something to tinker with now that I'm retired. I'm not an off-roader, so there will be no "build" to get the truck to that point.

You could probably find more information on that radio through the parts finder on a dealer’s parts website.

My '06 AC has the OEM Head Unit. It is the unit with 6 CD, AM/FM, a load of presets...... I don't believe its the JBL system.

I'll be replacing it, probably with a Kenwood Nav unit, not exactly sure when this work will happen.

Its not the worst HU I've had, its not the best either. Although, it suffices for now. Speakers will get replaced before the HU.

You maybe able to find a suitable unit in a salvage yard.
