If those are the only two trucks you have to pick from, I'd get the sport with the manual trans and add an ARB locker to it.

    There we go. Thank you.
The question was between two vehicles.
A lot of vehicles would be better that’s not the question.

    I know they exist.
Read the title. I wasn’t asking about your truck. I’m excluding you and your truck.

I'd pick the manual trans first and foremost, that was most important in my choice anyway. A locker can always be added via aftermarket.

The first post says it all. It’s between those 2 options.
I don’t care if your grandmas 4x4 would be more suited for off roading. That’s not the question.
    MT sport 4x4 or
    AT off road 4x4.
    So simple yet...

    Same here.
Of course I would have loved an off road 4x4 in the MT.
Couldn’t find one priced fairly anywhere in So Cal.

At crawl control can help in the s*** with rocks / maxtrax/ firewood for traction .. i believe mt does not .. It would even help if you have a winch . Its not a wrx .

How much to add a locker?
How much to covert from AT to MT?

Yes I love it I really don't know why everyone complains about the AT . I had a 2nd gen and now a 3rd with lift and 33s ,sliders ,armor rear bumper swingout ,bed rack and rtt . If you hit the gas it still has punch.

Crawl Control is wicked for ascending. Descending, it makes a racket, though very controlled. I prefer the AT.

You’re just sitting there though. Slowly pushing the gas.
    Then slowly pressing the brake.
2 buttons my little nephews Nintendo is more involved.
