Thanks for the info. I might switch to Mobil 1 down the road, but have a case and a half of the Toyota oil I will use up first.

I used the Toyota oil for the first change to make sure there were no blame issues if a problem came up.

I am letting the dealer change it until my 36k warranty is up. but will have the oil changed every 5k instead of 10k. So I pay for it every other time and they do it for free the other. Sometimes they give us coupons for the oil change which helps

This way, when they rotate the tires every 5k, the oil changed as well.

The plus is I do not have to dispose the oil. I have ran into a couple of times, trying to findi a place where to recycle the oil when there oil drums are not full.

What is this toyo service and cookies. Went to one place and they had full grill service. Wish other service centers had that. Better choices than just cookies.

manual recommends every 10k. But they do not drive the cars or trucks a distance everyday like some of us do.

I've always used Mobil1. Never any issues.

That being said, I owned a mobile oil change business for a while years ago, and this is true:

Changing your oil is way more important than what you change it with...

Good choice! Exact stuff I used.....but where did you find the 5 quart jug of the 0w20 Sig? That would make getting rid of my old oil much easier.

It's a one gallon jug. I get all my parts on Amsoil's website. Signed up for the membership (like $30/year) and you get 25% off all their products.
