What oil do you recommend for new Tacoma 3k miles ?

    Same, 10k or longer changed and have never blown an engine either.

    There's a guy on here that just strains his oil through some machine. Do that and report back.

    I personally use the most expensive oil. I just feel all yucky inside using cheap oil.

    Man nothing beats roasted sesame oil. Trucks exhaust smells fucking amazing.

    Peanut oil is best and it doesn’t lose its viscosity when it gets hot. You can drain it from your engine and fry a turkey on Thanksgiving.

    Most recent oil change...I used what Chloe Kuo uses:

    I have Fumoto Valve & MotiveX Funnel + valve tubing for ease/cleaner oil change at 5K intervals.

    After the three free changes at the dealer I switched over to Amsoil Signature 0W-20 full synthetic at recommended 10K intervals. Expensive oil but its the best in testing along with the Pennzoil Platinum. Standard Mobil 1 and many other synthetics will no doubt do the job just fine.
