My first post, and I'm looking to buy within a coupla weeks. I'm curious what you guys wish your truck had now when you purchased your ride.

In all honesty, I will definitely be lifting my truck or going LT(which will definitely be down the road after it is paid off and the warranty has run out).

So far, mods I will be looking in within the first year are katskinz, stereo, tint, and maybe a mild lift with new wheels/tires.

Looking to get a 2012 SR5 V6 6MT 4wd dbl cab with tow package, but I am even contemplating a tow package since I wont tow, and will only get it for the alternator and battery for the future upgrade of a loud stereo system I plan on installing.

I was happy to be upgrading from a wrangler and I knew what I was buying. I wish mine came with an ipod connector, easy fix though.

Sunroof for sure. I installed tint immediately, and an aftermarket stereo. A range & mpg calculator would have been nice, and factory leather.

Definitely get the tow package. You never know if you might need it in the future and there's gazillions of accessories out there that can attach to a receiver hitch.

Tow package and the clear 3M stuff they put on the front end. I've got a few chips in the hood down to bare metal. If I could have swung the extra money, I would have gone for the TRD Sport package but couldn't justify the cost.

Heated mirrors. You can get them on vehicles costing half what a Tacoma does, but not even an upgrade option for us :(

I miss the old days when you could order a truck made the way you wanted it. You could get something like an alternator upgrade or even gearing options without having to buy a package that includes a vibrating ass massager for 3 times the price.
